Doctors should be checking nutrition, sleep and exercise first before anything else, but they don't have the time (and resources) to do that So it's kinda their fault we have a society that's so overmedicated, but also not their fault because they don't really have a choice My dad's a retired cardiologist, when he started his career he said he had 1 hour to talk to a patient, when he retired that had become 5 minutes!
@levelsio @nurullah_kuus I was about to ask the same question. Went to a dermatologist because of dandruff (seborrheic dermatitis). He prescribed me ketoconazole. It helped rid the dandruff but dried out my scalp so I stopped. I started eating cleaner, cutting out sugar and processed foods and tadah!
View quoted postHead & Shoulders is proven to cause itchy scalp and dandruff as it dries out your scalp You can get off shampoo fully, you just need to only use water and wait about 3 months I think for your natural oils to recover First it will be TOO oily and then balance Also it's related to your diet, if you eat clean and exercise your hair looks great If you eat processed junk and don't, your hair will look dry and dead And water types can also affect it, more minerals and salt and calcium in water gives my hair MORE volume and style While clean demineralized water makes my hair flat In Bali I had very funky hair it almost looked like hard deep fried Chiang Mai noodles because the tap water is so salty! Kinda like surfer's hair, I loved it

Within this farm, we found 200 accounts posting in a manner that could manipulate a legitimate debate about American AI and energy policy. These posts contained claims that AI data centers are driving up household electricity prices and straining the grid. Others included AI-generated cartoons that depicted data-center operators enriching themselves at the public's expense. We remain committed to maintaining an open and authentic platform where people debate topics of public interest. That'd mean social programs (like cities do now), but also enforcing clean and liveable streets (like many cities don't do now) for their tax payers This used to be a problem you'd only see in Los Angeles, San Francisco and places like Brazil. Now it's all over Europe too. We're in a down cycle of cities with more junkies and homeless in many cities worldwide, and people feeling less safe, kinda like the 1970s and 1980s! So I hope Hoodmaps helps improve cities with data!

Yes it does This is my home AC in bedroom set to 16°C measured with @airthings sensor Whether you like 16°C or not isn't the point The point is my AC at home doesn't lie about the room temperature like most European hotel ACs categorically do to save money
@levelsio when you set the AC at your house in the summer to 18, does it actually make it 18? if so, it's a miracle i've never seen before.

Yes each of my sites is a Termius server with this kind of start command cd /srv/http/hotelist.com && tm tm is a script made by Claude Code which puts it in a tmux session tied to the project name (from its folder) That means I always log back into my tmux session for each project! My big sites like Photo AI are on their own VPS, one site per VPS, but the rest is on one VPS, all on Hetzner btw, so anyway I don't even notice this, it's just all tabs in Termius If my phone disconnect I just reconnect and am back where I was Every tmux session has Claude Code open
@levelsio Any tip or trick with Termius? Did you personalize it somehow to make it easier to login to a server/start a session in a project/do stuff? I've been planing to dive into that for a while now, but no time allocated yet.

@levelsio theoretically yes i guess but there are ways how to minimize the risk https://cheatsheetseries.owasp.org/cheatsheets/LLM_Prompt_Injection_Prevention_Cheat_Sheet.html but yea i get that the risk for you is higher since you run the AI on your prod server directly

It gets ratings from all booking platforms, normalizes them to show the actual score (eg a booking site where most hotels are always between 4 and 4.7 means you can normalize that to a 0 and 5) It also uses AI vision models to rate hotels based on how they look And it browses the internet for actual experiences (think blogs and Reddit posts) to get the real opinion about them outside reviews And it's starting to work, I just stayed in this beautiful boutique apartment hotel called Woo Suites in Athens for $400/night. Clean, nice minimalist interior, working cold AC, central, excellent staff, great healthy breakfast, and we found it through Hotelist! It's free, I don't make any money on it (actually I lose thousands per month on it to collect data via APIs and web scrapers) and there's no affiliate money bs like other booking sites (they will increase ranking of hotels if they pay sites a higher commission!) http://Hotelist.com Tell your friends please!!!!!! 🙏

You can get it from eating infected meat (but it's very rare), or prions can flip in your body randomly and cause it, or you can have surgery and one of the surgery tools can have it on them from previous patients The issue with that from what I read is that it's close to impossible to wash off, and it won't die at extreme heats either, you just have to throw away all surgery tools (which you can't) 85% of Creutzfeldt–Jakob is a randomly flipping prion though, so that's most probably Anyway, Lito here can participate in a promising trial by @Harvard @broadinstitute @ionispharma @mayoclinic but the next batch is only in October, so he's hoping the internet (like this tweet) can help him get in earlier, so he has a chance And that trial hopefully helps us find a cure for this crazy disease So if you can spread this, do so! At the same time the rich will build constructions to not pay tax or just flee the country because why would they not? This pushes down tax income for governments meaning they will have to increase taxes to pay for the already dysfunctional government services Meanwhile poor people get further isolated, they don't have money to go private so they rely fully on public services which are now worse than they were before. And they get isolated even more and now you have a 2-tier society of rich and poor fully divided This forces the poor to start robbing the rich and now you get even more private security and rich fleeing the country and less tax income "Brazilification" It's a vicious cycle Now if you had safe cities, great public services, great healthcare, you would never have this problem. The last few years that changed and you start seeing really dumb and messy bugs everywhere especially in iOS but also MacOS As an example every time I open my camera from my iPhone's homescreen to quickly picture somethig that quickly happened (like a plane flying by slow) I miss it because my Camera app goes into a weird blur freeze or just stays black Just basic software things Apple can't even do anymore A big reason for this of course, may I say it, is Steve not being there. Steve was obsessed about details. Modern Apple doesn't care about details at all Developers are just a tiny sliver of society but they are trend setting and if you lose them, there's a good chance the rest of people will move on to other platforms too Apple should be studying what's happening now because add this to also investing $0 into AI (which people call a "great move" as models go open, I'm really not sure about that) they might not have a moat left I know for sure if I switch from a MacBook Pro running MacOS to a Dell XPS with Linux that will be a gateway drug for me to also move my iPhone with iOS to some great hardware phone running a great custom minimal Android install And I never even considered switching before this year!

Our globe has been getting hotter and hotter reaching record heat levels every year somewhere Our houses are built more insulated than ever, they don't breathe anymore Together that means people sleeping bad, in bedrooms that are too hot, too humid, ans with CO2 levels that are way too high That's a modern problem not seen before, it wasn't like that 20 years ago!
@levelsio @grok is this real or are we just going crazy with the healthmaxxing? I feel like temperature is important but CO2 is overblown? I always think of the submariners who could just inhale like 40,000 ppm and still perform normal

Now I'm 75kg and very strong! Intermediate level lifting is stronger than ~50% of lifters (not society!), advanced is stronger than ~80%, elite is stronger than ~95%. If you look society wise, these lifts make me stronger than 95% of people, because most people don't even lift! I always find it funny when you post lifts you get anon accounts calling you weak, which makes no sense, just going to the gym 3x per week, you're probably stronger than 95% of people! I agree with this More testing and body scans etc will shows lots of issues that are not actually issues but might become issues the moment you start cutting in people's body But the benefits of preventative healthcare if we do it right will still outweigh the negatives of that Also with cheap and regular testing (like the Midjourney Medical scanner) you can see your body change and quickly spot irregularities Being against longevity and preventative healthcare because it has its issues is kinda like being against cars in 1900 because they kill people, they do but the benefits outweighed that over staying with horses
@levelsio Type 1 scan problems are very real and we’ll have a lot of people wanting to get shit cut out of them for no reason But the benefits still significantly outweigh the downsides

And install Alipay, connect your payment card, via Alipay you can use lots of apps like Didi (Uber of China), many of these apps inside Alipay won't work for foreigners outside of it (or not easy) Also internet can be challenging, I got an eSIM from Airalo for Asia and it worked to go outside the firewall Also if you go with family maybe helps to find some local fixer or agent, nobody speaks English (but ppl helpful), so sometimes you can have a difficult situation if you have no Chinese speaker with you. Normally I'd not book tourist tours to for ex Chinese Wall but in China I would because it means you get essentially a local fixer/translator Food can be difficult too but if you get a good hotel you can just eat Western food there. A good China-only hotel is called Niccolo Hotels, very luxurious, clean and actually great prices too Have fun!!!!
