Ok I don’t seem to see @tbpn on my feed as often as a few weeks ago Is it possible X penalizes them for being bought by a competitor? Just curious The views still seem large. They’ve just … dropped off my feed. Hmmm
View quoted postRT Melius Your agent already has context. Now it has a canvas. Melius is the first creative canvas for AI agents - a place for them to materialize your imagination with generative AI workflows. Media creation has never been more accessible, but the process is still buried under esoteric prompts, point solutions, and hours spent manually building systems instead of expressing your creativity. We democratize creation via an MCP for your agent or our own, so you can focus on being the tastemaker - Exactly as you imagined. If you're an AI creative director, filmmaker, marketer, designer, or just someone experimenting with AI-generated content, reply "IMAGINE" for beta access. View quoted postRT Greg Brockman The world is transitioning to a compute-powered economy. The field of software engineering is currently undergoing a renaissance, with AI having dramatically sped up software engineering even over just the past six months. AI is now on track to bring this same transformation to every other kind of work that people do with a computer. Using a computer has always been about contorting yourself to the machine. You take a goal and break it down into smaller goals. You translate intent into instructions. We are moving into a world where you no longer have to micromanage the computer. More and more, it adapts to what you want. Rather doing work with a computer, the computer does work for you. The rate, scale, and sophistication of problem solving it will do for you will be bound by the amount of compute you have access to. Friction is starting to disappear. You can try ideas faster. You can build things you would not have attempted before. Small teams can do what used to require much larger ones, and larger ones may be capable of unprecedented feats. More and more, people can turn intent into software, spreadsheets, presentations, workflows, science, and companies. People are spending less energy managing the tool and more energy focusing on what they are actually trying to create. That shift brings a kind of joy back into work that many people haven’t felt in a long time. Everyone can just build things with these tools. This is disruptive. Institutions will change, and the paths and jobs that people assumed were stable may not hold. We don’t know exactly how it will play out and we need to take mitigating downsides very seriously, as well as figuring out how to support each other as a society and world through this time. But there is something very freeing about this moment. For the first time, far more people can become who they want to become, with fewer barriers between an idea and a reality. OpenAI’s mission implies making sure that, as the tool...

RT Michael Truell Re We A/B test many parts of Cursor: model checkpoints, UX, and the agent harness. In this case, we tested less than 1% of traffic to compare how Claude behaves with the CC harness versus our default harness (something we do often with offline evals). Our team does lots to improve the speed, feel, and accuracy of our harness on the queries users ask and care about. Hope to share more about this work soon. Controversial take, but I love a good large-format out-of-home ad. I stumbled on this OpenAI ad this morning in Austin. Low key stopped me in my tracks. 10/10.

View quoted postRT Tibo Hi! Getting a lot of questions on Pro plan rate limits, so I wanted to clarify a few things: - Your Pro $100 plan includes at least 10x Plus usage, till May 31 with the 2X usage boost. - Your Pro $200 plan includes at least 20x Plus usage, till May 31 with the 2X usage boost. This is also the SAME usage this plan had since the 2x promo in February; we previously didn't document this explicitly. Now to address the confusion. Our pricing page says "5x or 20x usage", and many of you very understandably took it to mean "10x and 40x" given then 2X usage boost. That's our fault. We mixed up two things in a confusing way on that page - (1) sharing that the Pro $100 launched with a 2x boost, making it 10x Plus till May 31 and (2) sharing that Pro $200 retained its 2x boost and sharing for the first time that this equates to 20x Plus. We're going to update our pricing pages to make this clearer. Sorry it wasn't as clear as it should have in the first place.🫥 Original tweet: https://x.com/thsottiaux/status/2043075353242218768

RT am.will Look ma new Codex Updates! 0.119.0 and 0.120.0 are here. And with it, a HUGE number of quality of life updates and bug fixes! > Hooks now render in a dedicated live area above the composer. They only persist when they have output, so your terminal stays clean. If you're running PreToolUse or PostToolUse hooks, this is a huge readability win. > Hooks are now available again on Windows > CTRL+O copies the last agent output. Small but clutch when you're pulling a code block into another file or chat. > New statusline option: context usage as a graphical bar instead of a percentage. Easier to glance at mid-session when you're trying to gauge how much runway you have left. > Zellij support is here with no scrollback bugs. If you've been stuck on tmux just because Codex was broken in Zellij, you're free now (shout out @fcoury) > Memory extensions just landed. The consolidation agent can now discover plugin folders under memories_extensions/ and read their instructions.md to learn how to interpret new memory sources. Drop a folder in, give it guidance, and the agent picks it up automatically during summarization. No core code changes needed. This is the first real extension point for Codex's memory system, and it opens the door for third-party memory plugins. > Did you know, you can /rename a thread? But what's really cool about that is, after you rename it, you can resume it with the same name, no more UUIDs. codex resume mynewapp or directly from the TUI: /resume mynewapp > Multi agents v2 got an update to tool descriptions More reliable multi agent environments and inter agent communication > You can now enable TUI notifications whether Codex is in focus or not. Modify this in your config: [tui] notification_condition = "always" > MAJOR overhaul to Codex MCP functionality: 1. Codex Tool Search now works with custom MCP servers, so tools can be searched and deferred instead of all being exposed up front. 2. Custom MCP servers can now...
